Bengals are strong,
intelligent cats who form strong bonds with their owners. They eat regular
cat food and use the litter box, just like other domestic breeds. Bengals
are medium size and muscular cats. Another interesting trait of the Bengal
is their love of water, they scoop water with their paws before drinking
and love to play in puddles or in the shower. Bengals are unique in that
they do not have fur like other cats, instead they have a pelt. Most
Bengal cats also have or carry the glitter gene, which makes them shimmer in
sun light. Bengal kittens are born with their coat patterns, either
spotted or marbled. Bengals should retain the look of the wild but with
the temperament of a well balanced domestic cat.
