What is the cost to have a banner on Cats of Australia?
The cost for one banner is $30 per year. We believe this is very good value. Advertising with a banner on COA
costs you under
60 cents per week.
What do I have to do to have a
banner on Cats of Australia?
I will design and make your banner for you, all you need to
supply is a photo and the details you would like to appear on your banner.
Included in the banner will be ONE photo of a cat(s).
Cattery name, website address, e-mail address, phone number & a brief description
of your cattery. Please keep the description under thirty words.

These are the steps to take to have a banner
made for you on COA
| 1. Find a suitable photo. I don't mind how large it is or if
the cat is off centre. I can always resize and edit it. I can also lift a
photo from your website if you prefer. Just describe which photo you want to
use. |
TIP
To attract people to
your banner the most important feature is the photo. A clear
crisp eye-catching photo works wonders. Choose photos that
will appeal to the public. Square photos work within the
banner far better that tall skinny ones. |

2. Think about what you would like to say on
your banner. Approx 30 words or less. Include your phone number website and email
address.
3. Decide the colour you want the banner to be. Tell me for
example, "I would like a dark green banner with white writing' or 'Please use
the colours from my Website". If
you can't decide you can ask that I decide for you and I will try to make the
banner colour to suit your photograph. You can also use the
COLOUR CHART to
find just the right colour. Simply find your colours on the wheel and send me
the code numbers which will be displayed. You could even send me to a website
you admire to get the colours.
4. Tell me which State you live in. Banners are listed
according to State.
5. Email me all the above information.

Banners are listed according to the
state the cattery is in. The states are listed alphabetically. The
banners operate on a first come first in system. Unfortunately your
banner will be at the bottom position of the list until some one new
adds a banner there. Then you will move up one. Our banner advertising
service has been running since 1998 with many of our original
advertisers still advertising with us today.
What if I already have my own banner?
You may already have a banner made by you or someone
else.
If you wish to use your own banner please email it to me in jpg or gif format (not a word document)
I can only
accept your banner if it is no larger in width or depth than the example
banner shown above. Size 800 x 260 pixels
If you wish to use your own banner you
must realise that it may not be of the same size as other banners on the
page. Also please be aware that your banner may not look the same size as
other banners on a wide screen monitor such as a laptop.
Sorry, I cannot accept any banners with animation.
The fee for hosting your banner on
Cats of Australia is $30 per year.
What is the cost if I have more than one breed of cat?
If you have multiple breeds and require a unique
banner for each breed then a $30 fee is applicable for the first banner and $20
for each subsequent banner. If you have multiple breeds but the same banner is
OK for all the listings then the fee is $30 for the first banner and $10 for each
subsequent banner. There is an annual renewal fee of all banners.
How long before my banner appears on COA?
Your banner will appear on Cats of Australia within five days.
Before payment I will show you the banner I have made for you and will
give you the opportunity to make any changes to it.
How do I Pay?
I will email you with payment details when you are happy
with the finished result of your banner. You can pay by direct deposit
into my bank account or by PayPal.
